Accelerated Africa +

The Africa Diaspora Youth Forum in Europe (ADYFE) has been increasingly collaborating over the past years over many projects, fora, and endeavors with a wide range of actors to create a momentum and push forward the inclusion of the diaspora as a central development actor on a global scale. The goal has been and continue to highlight the critical role of the Diaspora and young entrepreneurs in addressing the African continent’s socio-economic challenges. ADYFE has hence been collaborating with a wide range of partners ranging from Governments, Embassies, United Nations Agencies development institutions and banks, the European Union, the African Union, ecosystem builders and private sectors, as well as investors and venture capitalists to achieve its goals.
The Accelerated Africa Conference + (AAC+), has been one of the major fora which ADYFE has been organizing yearly over the past 10 years in collaboration with its partners. It provided a unique platform for different stakeholders, such as aspiring and established entrepreneurs, the private sector, and government representatives, to connect and engage in partnership-building alongside promoting joint venture activities during B2B and B2G sessions. The events also focused on providing master classes and workshops, to foster entrepreneurial capacity building and knowledge sharing and support young entrepreneurs from both the diaspora and the African continent structure and build up their projects.
Nonetheless, our vision for Accelerated Africa has always been to develop a wider frame of intervention allowing for a wider range of activities to happen over a week period, not only in one country. This vision has always had for priority to maximize our impact, increase the visibility of our endeavor but above all to showcase the reality of an “African Dream” and its capacity to inspire diasporas, attract know-hows and investments and boost socio-economic development while putting the lights on the continent´s opportunities. This is why we are revisiting our original concept of an Accelerated Africa Conference, from now on we will be taking out the Conference and remain with Accelerated Africa only.
